MAIL AUTHENTICATION SECURITY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce introduction cost and running cost, to facilitate operation, and to acquire illegal use. SOLUTION: In this security system, an email for notifying a use start is transmitted to a portable information terminal 200, and a portable information terminal holder returns a password by the received email, instead of authentication by an information terminal to be used in the authentication when starting the use of the information terminal 100 or authentication by an authentication device directly connected or LAN-connected to the information terminal. The information terminal trying to perform the authentication receives the email, and the authentication is permitted when a mail address and the password match, to permit the use of the information terminal.
