IC CARD AND IC CARD SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card for shortening a time required for personal identification and an IC card case. SOLUTION: At an IC card 1 side, a power is supplied from a photovoltaic power generating device 6 to a biometrics sensor 4, IC 3 and display part 5. The biological information of a user is detected from the finger of a user carrying the IC card 1 by the biometrics sensor 4, and collated with the biological information of a true owner recorded in the IC 3. The collation result is displayed at the display part 5 of the IC card 1. When the user holds the IC card 1 up over a reader 2, the reader 2 transmits an authentication start signal through antennas 8 and 7 to the IC card 1, and the IC card 1 determines whether to transmit the information of the IC 3 through the antenna 7 to the antenna 8 of the reader 2 based on the collation result of the biometrics sensor 4.
