VEHICLE INTERIOR PART WITH AIRBAG DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a collision area of vehicle interior parts such as an instrument panel or the like from being scattered by the collision of an airbag door part in collision of the vehicle without bringing about weight increase or cost increase. SOLUTION: A backup part 29 is integrally welded to the back surface of a panel body 3 where the airbag door part 5 is opened with a hinge as a fulcrum and collides by the actuation of the airbag device A. The backup part 29 is extended from a flange part 29 over a little wider range than the collision area of the airbag door part 5 of the panel body 3, and prevents the panel body 3 broken down by the collision of the airbag door part 5 from being scattered.
