SEALING STRUCTURE OF HORIZONTAL LOADING WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure of a horizontal loading wheel improving reliability of sealing by preventing damaging of a rubber packing by a protruded corner part of a clearance groove. SOLUTION: (1) This sealing structure 10 between a side ring and a wheel main body of the tire horizontal loading type wheel is structured to receive a bead load of a tire by the side ring, a rubber packing 13 13 is held between opposed surfaces 24, 25 of the wheel main body 20 and the side ring 12, and the opposed surfaces 24, 25 of the wheel main body and the side ring are facially pressed and contacted onto the rubber packing 13. (2) The protruded corner part of a member not having a packing installing groove is chamfered by a taper surface 26. (3) A bottom surface of the packing installing groove 17 is made to be the inclined surface, and a sealing surface 24 to be facially pressure-welded on the rubber packing and a bottom surface of the clearance groove 16 not making contact with the rubber packing are formed on the inclined bottom surface.
