Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the free-fall speed of a propulsion unit, and to prevent the falling of a surface seal provided on an end surface on a tip end side of a manual valve, when the manual valve is opened and moved while a propulsion unit is tilted up, in a ship propulsion machine. SOLUTION: In a manual structure of the ship propulsion machine 10, a projecting portion 63E projecting out in an axial direction from the end surface on the tip end side of the manual valve 63 is provided. The surface seal 91 is fitted with a periphery of the projecting portion 63E. The projecting portion 63E is inserted in a first communicating passage 81, and a clearance between the projecting portion 63E and the inner periphery of the first communicating passage 81 is made to be a orifice 63F.
