Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous applying work to be carried out without stopping applying work by automatically jumping a knot of an elastic string-like body over a travel motion line of the elastic string-like body at a slit slot of a coater coating head. SOLUTION: In regard to the elastic string-like body travelling at the slit nozzle application part, the knot existing in the travelling elastic string-like body is detected, based on detection of the knot, the elastic string-like body is jumped over from an original travel motion line to avoid and pass the slit slot. After avoiding the slit slot, the elastic string-like body is returned to the original travel motion line and continuous travel motion is carried out. Thus the knot in the travelling elastic string-like body is made to jump and pass over the slit slot. A detection means for the knot existing in the travelling elastic string-like body and a jumping guiding means for avoiding and passing the slit slot of the coater coating head are provided.
