BOTH-SIDED DRAWABLE TYPE DRAWER FOR SELF-SUPPORTING BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pull out the entire drawer without any force regardless of the weight of stored materials in a both-sided drawable type drawer device. SOLUTION: A first cover 3 and a second cover 4 are attached to both end areas of a box 1. When a drawer 2 is pulled out of the box 1, the cover is locked in the front side area on the side where the cover is drawn by a removable locking device fitted to each cover, and on the opposite side, the cover closes an opening part to be locked on the box 1. The locking device is composed of holding elements 14 fitted to the respective covers 3, 4 and locking elements slidable vertically thereto. A first cam 8 is fitted to the drawer 2, and a second cam 9 is fitted to the box. When the drawer 2 is pulled out, the locking element is controlled by the second cam 9 to reach within the locking area of the first cam 8, and when the drawer 2 is separated from the corresponding cover 3 or 4, the locking element is controlled by the first cam 8 to reach within the locking area of the second cam 9.
