REPEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption and to improve noise-proof property and versatility by converting only a necessary part of a radio wave signal into an infrared signal with the waveform as it is. SOLUTION: A standard radio wave repeating device 1 comprises a receiving part 2, a signal converting part 7, an infrared transmitting part 19 and the like. In this case, the signal converting part 7 converts only a high amplitude part (a) in a standard radio wave S received by the receiving part 2 into a drive signal D of an amplitude waveform having the same frequency and duration W as those of the standard radio wave S and interrupts the other waveform parts of the standard radio wave S. The infrared transmitting part 19 transmits an infrared signal corresponding to the drive signal D to various devices 22. Consequently, since only the high amplitude part (a) can be transmitted as an infrared signal, it is possible to improve the noise-proof property and versatility and suppress power consumption of an LED 21 or the like.
