IMAGING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for realizing an applied configuration of an image data file format usable in common by signal processing programs adopting various parameter sets. SOLUTION: The file format of image data files for storing RAW data is configured to be capable of storing a plurality of parameter sets. Through the configuration above, it is possible that a signal processing program employing various different parameter sets selects the RAW data stored in compliance with the file format and parameters corresponding to the signal processing program and implements the signal processing. Even when parameters not used in an old signal processing program take place, the program can be utilized again by writing new parameter sets to an exclusive parameter storage area in the image file format.
