POWER RECEPTACLE INCORPORATED WITH OVERCURRENT STARTING LEAD RELAY, AND SIMILAR ONE IN ORDER TO ISSUE OVERCURRENT ALARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receptacle which issues an alarm for preventing an electric shock and a fire due to an overcurrent. SOLUTION: The power receptacle for supplying electric power to a load is constituted of a lead relay 16, an alarm indicator 17, a receptacle 42, and an input terminal 40 connected to a power source for supplying the electric power to the receptacle, while the lead relay is constituted of a lead switch 24 and a coil 16C around the lead switch. The coil is connected between one out of two input terminals and one or more receptacles so that when the total current amount flowing through the coil and the total current amount consumed by one or more loads connected to the receptacle have exceeded a preset current level, the coil actuates the lead switch which makes the alarm indicator start in order that the coil will be able to generate a sufficient magnetic field.
