Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating system expressing hierarchical tree structure for maintaining affinity of the most efficient level and maintaining balanced processor and memory load and using software abstract concept of non-uniform memory access (NUMA) system. SOLUTION: The hierarchical tree structure includes leaf nodes showing job processors, a root node which is shared by all the job processors and a plurality of intermediate nodes. The operating system includes a medium-term scheduler monitoring the progress of active thread groups and assisting a declined thread group and a plurality of dispatchers which monitor the status of the related job processor and obtains the thread group executed by the related job processor. Furthermore, the operating system also comprises a memory manager for allocating virtual and physical memories by using a plurality of memory pools and frame treasuries. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
