PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation support device capable of improving the convenience in foreign language conversations or the like. SOLUTION: The conversation support device is connected to a database storing a response sentence table in which spoken sentence identification information identifying a spoken sentence is related to a response sentence list including assumed responses to the spoken sentence so as to be accessible thereto. The device acquires a response sentence list related to spoken sentence identification information of an inputted spoken sentence and displays response sentences contained in the response sentence list to make a responder selectively read out them.
