IMPERVIOUS MEMBRANE TYPE SELECTIVE INTAKE FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide impervious membrane type selective intake facility which eliminate the risk that a cut-off base may be damaged by the weight of sludge etc., by preventing the accumulation of the sludge etc. on the cut-off base, and which eliminate the risk of damage to an impervious membrane and the cut-off base by enabling water to flow into the impervious membrane in an emergency. SOLUTION: The impervious membrane type selective intake facility is provided with the cut-off base 20 which is fixed to a dam 1 below an intake 2a, and which can put the downside of the intake 2a in a cut-off state along with the impervious membrane 16, inside the impervious membrane 16. An opening 20a, which can be opened/closed by a cut-off door 27, is formed on the cut-off base 20. When the cut-off door 27 is opened, the sludge etc. accumulated on the top surface of the cut-off base 20 can be rapidly discharged to the outside from the opening 20a. When the cut-off door 27 is opened in an emergency, the water flows into the impervious membrane 16 from the opening 20a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
