FILM AND MULTILAYER BIAXIALLY ORIENTED FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film that has excellent sealability and transparency, proper rigidity and high oxygen permeability and is suitable for freshness-retaining package of vegetables and fruits and flower and ornamental plants. SOLUTION: The gas permeable control film comprises 55-95 wt.% of a polypropylene (A) and 5-45 wt.% of an ethylene-1-octene random copolymer (B). The multilayer biaxially oriented film comprises a substrate layer composed of a resin composition consisting of 75-95 pts.wt. of a specific propylene-based polymer and 5-25 pts.wt. of a specific ethylene-1-octene random copolymer and at least one layer of a surface layer composed of a specific propylene-based polymer.
