WIPER PIVOT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper pivot which can prevent or effectively reduce a connection section between a pivot lever and a link mechanism from being flooded with water, and in addition, can prevent or effectively reduce foreign matter from entering a pivot hole. SOLUTION: In this wiper pivot 10, when a foreign subject such as a dead leaf is about to drop from the pivot hole 38, a radial rib 68 which is extended from the outer peripheral section of the holder body 32 of a pivot holder 14 interferes with the foreign subject from the lower side, and supports the foreign matter from the lower side. Thus, the dropping of foreign matter from the pivot hole 38 can be prevented or effectively suppressed from occurring. In addition, the radial rib 68 is formed on the holder body 32, i.e., the pivot holder 14, and the number of parts is not increased, and the assembling manhours for the parts are not increased as well.
