SHORT BAR SEPARATION AND COLLECTION SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to separate and collect a short bar from a full length bar on a rolling mill and its method. SOLUTION: The bar is carried from a shearing machine to a moving station on a run-out table and accumulated in a form of a layer on the moving station. This layer is moved in the longitudinal direction to a separation roller table of a separating station from the moving station. The rear end of the full length bar is lifted upward from the separation roller table by a lift, and thereafter, the separation roller table carries the short bar to a collecting station. The remaining full length bar is returned to the moving station and sent to a binding station therefrom. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
