Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot hand reduced in moving amount at the tip of a retaining claw of the robot hand along a center axis of a robot arm when holding a workpiece. SOLUTION: This robot hand 10 is provided with a driving device 12 having a pair of movers 14 and 16 provided to be movable in a traverse direction with respect to the center axis O extending in parallel to the longitudinal direction of an arm mounted with the robot hand, a pair of retaining claws 18 and 20 connected to the pair of movers 14 and 16, respectively, and a connecting part 22 for rotatably connecting the pair of retaining claws 18 and 20 with each other. The pair of retaining claws 18 and 20 have base ends rotatably connected to the movers 14 and 16 and tips engaged to the workpiece. The pair of movers 14 and 16 perform approaching and separating operations in the traverse direction with respect to the center axis, and thereby the pair of retaining claws 18 and 20 are rotated with the connecting part 22 as a center and the tips of the retaining claws 18 and 20 are separated and approached from and to each other.
