Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press, wherein production efficiency is improved and energy saving is achieved. SOLUTION: When the rotation of a driving system is slowed down between times T14-T15, the kinetic energy equivalent to the deceleration is regenerated as hydraulic energy and the hydraulic energy is used for accelerating the driving system between times T12-T13. Then, the energy conservation of the press is attained. By controlling the rotational speed of the driving system to turn to acceleration, constant speed and deceleration, a sliding motion suitable to the production of the press working is freely set by accelerating a sliding speed after the completion of the working and decelerating to a prescribed working speed by the start of the working. The working accuracy of a product can be improved by turning the working speed to the most suitable speed for working the product and also the productivity can be improved by shortening a cycle time.
