BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure blood pressure while achieving size reduction and improving measurement accuracy and to acquire an accurate measurement result without feeling discomfort. SOLUTION: A blood pressure measuring apparatus is provided which comprises a contact section 111 that contacts the living body of a subject, a fixing table 110 for fixing the living body via the contact section 111, a rotary disc 120 arranged on the fixing table 110 movably for detecting plethysmogram information of the subject by pressing a measurement position of the living body and for detecting pressure information regarding pressing force, a driving motor 130 for driving the rotary disc 120 and for pressing the rotary disc 120 onto the measurement position, and an entire control unit 140 for determining the blood pressure of the subject on the basis of the plethysmogram information and the pressure information detected by the rotary disc 120.
