PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of preventing falling of a tableware rack without being affected by the way of sliding operation when the tableware tray is slid forward. SOLUTION: The dishwasher comprises a washing tub whose front is open with upper and lower guide wires 21 and 22 on both sides, and upper and lower tableware racks 3 and 4 mounted on the guide wires 21 and 22 slidably in the front/rear directions. The rear side of the upper guide wire 21 is a mounting part 21a on which the upper tableware rack 3 is mounted. Falling of the tableware rack 3 is prevented by disposing a mounting preventing part 23 for preventing mounting of the upper tableware rack 3 and a restricting part 24 for restricting the quantity of forward movement of the upper tableware rack 3 on the front side of the upper guide wire 21.
