Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner and a self-propelled vacuum cleaner, capable of improving the cleaning efficiency (suction efficiency) by preventing litter and dust from scattering rearward and sideways. SOLUTION: The self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 has an intake 2b on the bottom of a body 2 to face the floor surface, the cleaned surface, for sucking litter and dust. In the vacuum cleaner 1, a back blade 11 and side blades 12 are disposed in contact with the floor surface in the rear and on both sides of the intake 2b for receiving litter and dust without permitting passage of litter and dust.
