Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus where an excess current judging circuit consists of a semiconductor integrated circuit and fluctuation of an excess current detection value is suppressed with a change of the temperature of a bonding part in a power switching element. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a current detection resistor receiving a sense current of a power switching element and generating a sense voltage, and the judging circuit for an excess current receiving a sense voltage and generating an excess current detection signal. The judging circuit for an excess current is constituted of the semiconductor integrated circuit. A thermistor having a negative resistance temperature characteristic receiving the temperature change depending on the change of the bonding part temperature of the power switching element is connected to the current detection resistor in parallel. The current detection resistor and the thermistor are arranged in an outer circuit of the semiconductor integrated circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
