DEVICE TO BE CONTROLLED AND REMOTE CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system, consisting of a remote controller by which a plurality of devices to be controlled can be operated, even if it is a single remote controller, and a device to be controlled by the remote controller. SOLUTION: The remote control system includes the device 1 to be controlled and the remote controller 11 for carrying out infrared communication among each other. The device 1 transmits display information showing operation contents to the remote controller 11, and carries out operation, based on operation information sent back from the remote controller 11; while the remote controller 11 receives and displays display information transmitted from the device 1 and sends the operation information, showing the instruction content of a user added to the display information back with respect to the device 1.
