FAVORITE OPERATION ITEM REGISTRATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a quick and simple operation by setting the favorite operation items of a user in any operation other than an original operation for operation keys. SOLUTION: When a user sets favorite operation items for the keys of a remote controller 1, a setting menu is displayed in a television monitor 6. A main CPU 3 reads setting information from an EEPROM 4, makes an OSD control circuit 5 generate the display image data of a favorite menu setting picture based on the information, and makes a television monitor 6 display the display image data. A user performs favorite setting by a remote controller 1 by using the set menu picture, and the main CPU 3 stores the information of the favorite setting in the EEPROM 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
