SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERSONAL AUTHENTICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform personal verification of more users while reducing a risk of leakage of biological information. SOLUTION: A control server 40 encodes facial image data of a user photographed by a terminal unit 10 after the facial image data is divided into partial facial image data, and transmits each of pieces of facial image data to either of a plurality of identification servers 30 to 32. Respective identification servers 30 to 32 transmit the registered facial image data preregistered in a facial image DB 30a and collation results of collation processing to the control server 40 after encoded partial facial image data received from the control server 40 is decoded. The control server 40 notifies the terminal unit 10 of determined results by performing determination processing of the authentication results on the basis of the verification results received from the respective identification servers 30 to 32.
