Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of jitter and face inclination characteristics caused when the flatness of the seating face of a rotor boss is not kept highly precisely due to sagging or deformation in an assembly process prior to fix a polygon mirror in a polygon mirror scanner motor used for a laser scanning in a laser beam printer or a copying machine. SOLUTION: The seating face 6a of the rotor boss is formed into a taper shape having an offset function in which the height is made more higher as from the inner periphery of the seating face toward the outer periphery.
