PRESSURE RESISTANCE INSPECTING EQUIPMENT OF LONG CONTAINER AND PRESSURE RESISTANCE INSPECTING METHOD USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a series of inspection processes to a long high pressure gas container rapidly and safely with high precision without requiring a wide range working place. SOLUTION: In this pressure resistance inspecting equipment of the long container of a high pressure gas including a moving device 10 for moving the fed-in long container and an inspection device for inspecting the pressure resistance of the long container, the moving device constituted so that the tongs installed at one corner of a rotary disk 11 to hold the long container are rotated, raised and lowered to suspend the basket for holding one end of the long container through a wire 18. In the circular region centering around the rotary disk, a series of inspection processes are applied to conserve a work space. Since the tongs for holding the long container are rotated, raised and lowered, the work using a crane or labor is dispensed with. Further, since the basket for holding one end of the long container is suspended, the inspection of pressure resistance can be performed in a state that the long container is vertically suspended.
