Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower device and a projection type image display device guiding air coming from a centrifugal fan to a desired direction, and improving cooling efficiency by eliminating the excessive difference in level compared with the one wherein a duct and a casing are separately formed. SOLUTION: In this blower device 8, the centrifugal fan 80 having vanes and a rotation means integrated is housed in the housing constituted of a first housing 82 and a second housing, suction ports 82b and 83a are provided on the casing in a position confronting both end sides of the axial direction of the centrifugal fan 80, and the duct is extended. By operation of the centrifugal fan 80, the outside air is sucked through the suction ports 82b and 83a, and is exhausted through the extended duct. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
