Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flush away a foreign substance which emerges with hot steam when a connection lead terminal formed on a terminal section is cleaned by spraying the hot steam on the terminal section of a display panel. SOLUTION: When the connection lead terminal 3 which is formed on the terminal section 2 of the display panel 1 is cleaned, in a cleaning method of the connection lead terminal by spraying the hot steam to the terminal section 2 by a steam nozzle, a face direction of the display panel 1 is kept approximately vertical at the maximum to a horizontal face X and the display panel 1 is slanted with a predetermined angle θ so that a corner part of the terminal section 2 on one end 2d side may be placed in the lowest position, and the connection lead terminal 3 is cleaned by spraying the hot steam to the terminal section 2, while moving the steam nozzle from the other end 2e side of the terminal section 2 to one end 2d side.
