Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming body manufacturing method, in which the quantity of carbon dioxide gas in a molten resin at the outlet of an extruder for manufacturing a foaming body by injecting the carbon dioxide gas thereinto can be simply, accurately and continuously, and a carbon dioxide gas concentration detecting method and an extruder. SOLUTION: In the foamed body manufacturing method for manufacturing the foamed body by injecting carbon dioxide gas in the molten resin within the extruder, the molten resin is forcibly sucked at the neighbourhood of the extrusion port of the extruder so as to detect the carbon dioxide gas concentration in the sucked molten resin with a near infrared or infrared detecting sensor in order to control the injected quantity of the carbon dioxide gas to be injected in the molten resin of the extruder based on the detected carbon dioxide gas concentration.
