HAIR CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the quantity of hair which can be cut by one cutting motion of a hair cutter by increasing the quantity of hair entering to hair insertion space 7. SOLUTION: The hair cutter comprises a comb part 2 with a plurality of comb teeth 5 arranged with the hair insertion space 7 in-between, and a blade body 3 with an edge disposed adjacent to the hair insertion space 7 between adjacent comb teeth 5. The hair cutter has a plurality of auxiliary teeth 12 projecting adjacent to the hair insertion space 7. The auxiliary teeth 12 are arranged in the direction Y from the proximal end to the distal end with gaps in-between in an end edge extending adjacent to the hair insertion space 7 from the proximal end to the distal end of the comb teeth 5. The edge of the blade body 3 is exposed in the gap between adjacent auxiliary teeth 12, and extension parts projecting adjacent to the hair insertion space 7 from the edge are disposed in the auxiliary teeth 12. A hair insertion recess is formed in such a way as to communicate with the hair insertion space between the extension parts of adjacent auxiliary teeth 12 and the edge of the blade body 3 in the gap between the auxiliary teeth 12.
