FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very excellent fuel cell with excellent insulation property, lightweight, easy processing and low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In a plate 5 for the fuel cell, a reaction fluid circulates in a recessed part 9 and the protruded part 5c has the insulation property. The fuel cell using the fuel cell plate 5 is provided with an electrolyte layer 1, a first electrode 2 provided in a first principal surface of the electrolyte layer 1 and having an area smaller than an area of the first principal surface of the electrolyte layer 1 and a second electrode 3 provided in a second principal surface of the electrolyte layer 1. The fuel cell plate 5 is provided opposite to the first electrode 2 and supports the electrolyte layer 1 with the protruded part 5c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
