IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image display technology for preventing the non-display state of a moving image from occurring in reproduction of sequence data SQD. SOLUTION: In an image display device, when image data GD that can be used is specified by an index Idx and the number Nsqd of the sequence data SQD which specifies the movement of the image data GD to be used by an attribute element Atr is registered in an SQD table 30, image display is started on the basis of the SQD of the registered Nsqd. The SQD which constitute a pair are associated with a pair element numbers NP of the SQD table 30 and, when the local time Tlocal in one SQD coincides with the start time of image drawing, the other SQD element is deleted. Thus, even when a non-display period for looking ahead the image data to be used is secured, since the SQD of one of the pair remains undeleted during the non-display period, display processing of the remaining SQD is performed and the non-display state of images can be avoided.
