Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning a substance contaminated by an organic chlorine compound comprising effectively combining a chemical treatment involving addition of a reducing agent and a biological treatment involving injection of a nutritional agent or the like. SOLUTION: In an anaerobic biomethod for cleaning soil, underground water and the like contaminated by an organic chlorine compound by the action of microorganism, only a reducing agent is added to the contaminated substance before a biological treatment to thereby reduce the concentration of the organic chlorine compound contained in the contaminated substance to a predetermined value, and after such the chemical treatment process, a nutritional agent or the like is added to the contaminated substance in the presence of anaerobic microorganism decomposing the organic chlorine compound to biologically decompose the organic chlorine compound.
