Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for embedding attribute data in image data without increasing a data size and without relating the image data to the attribute data. SOLUTION: Attribute data concerned with an image are embedded in bits to be masked out of the display data of pixels for displaying a color-subtracted image. The bits of the display data of the pixels in which the attribute data are to be embedded are those to be masked in each of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) of pixel data and set as lower bits.
