PIPE HAVING COPPER PLATED INNER WALL SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive water pipe generating no slime similarly to a copper pipe, and having good workability similarly to a PVC pipe. SOLUTION: In order to materialize this PVC pipe 1 having a copper plated inner wall surface, a base copper plated layer 3c is formed on the inner wall surface of the PVC pipe by elctroless copper plating, and it is then suspended in an electroplating liquid 19a by a fixture 20 and a suspension 21, and a copper plated layer 3b is laminated on the base copper plated layer 3c by copper sulfate electroplating by using the base copper plated layer 3c as a negative electrode. Thereby, an copper ion is easily eluted from the copper plated layer 3b on the inner surface 3a in contact with water, and the water pipe presenting a bactericidal action to kill pathogenic bacterium, and algae in water and generating no slime can be inexpensively provided.
