Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition that exhibits good molding processability and exhibits sufficient mechanical strength even when formed into a thin film. SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition comprises 99-1 wt.% of a linear low-density polyethylene, obtained by polymerization using a metallocene catalyst, satisfying the requirements (1)-(6) and 1-99 wt.% of a high-pressure low-density polyethylene satisfying the requirements (7) and (8); (1) an MFR of at least 0.1 g/10 min and less than 5.0 g/10 min; (2) a density of 890-940 kg/m3; (3) Mw/Mn of 2.0-4.0; (4) the existence of at least two peaks having a peak temperature of 15°C or higher and lower than 90°C in a differential elution curve in the temperature-raising elution fractionation method; (5) the ratio of the height (H2) of the second highest peak to the height (H1) of the highest peak of at least 0.25; (6) the ratio (W/H) of the width (W) at the half height of the peak to the height (H) of the respective peak of less than (1.70-0.016T); (7) an MFR of 0.1-15 g/10 min; and (8) a density of 910-935 kg/m3.
