SELF-TRAVELING TYPE CAR-WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling type car-washing machine capable of advantageously realizing automation of steering operation. SOLUTION: The self-traveling type car-washing machine is provided with a steering means mounted with a wheel 14 and changing a traveling direction of a frame 11 rotatably supporting a car-washing brush 16; a resistance force detection means for detecting resistance force generated by pressing it to an outer peripheral surface 57 of the vehicle body to be washed in the car-washing brush 16; and a self-traveling direction control means for traveling the frame 11 in a separating direction from the outer peripheral surface 57 of the vehicle body when a detection value by the resistance force detection means becomes larger than a previously set allowance range and traveling the frame 11 in a direction getting close to the outer peripheral surface 57 of the vehicle body when the detection value becomes smaller than the previously set allowance range.
