MONITOR STORAGE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE MOUNTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize safety by absorbing/relaxing impact even when a passenger hits the head or the like to a downwardly opened television monitor in a structure having strength required for ensuring safety, realizing light weight and capable of retaining a stable predetermined attitude in a structure for storing the television monitor in a ceiling side of a bus vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: A storage space 4 for storing a monitor storage frame 3 is provided at the inside of a body frame 2, one end of a connection retaining plate 5 is supported on a back part of the monitor storage frame 3 by a turning shaft 5a and the other end is supported on a rear end edge of the storage space by a turning shaft 5b. Rollers 7, 7 are turnably provided at both sides of one end of the monitor storage frame 3 and a cushion plate 9 for linearly guiding tracks of the respective rollers 7 along both sides of the storage space 4 is elastically supported. A movement stop projection 20 with which the respective rollers 7 override and are locked is provided on the midway of the cushion plate 9.
