SEAT MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat mounting structure capable of fastening a mounting tool in the condition that a fastening tool is directed aslant, precluding the seat from constituting obstacle even if fastening is made in the condition that the seat is raised up, enhancing the easiness to execute the seat mounting operation, and mounting the seat stably. SOLUTION: The seat mounting structure is configured so that a folding rear seat 2 capable of being held in the upright attitude upon rotating round a rotary shaft installed in the lower part ahead of a seat cushion 3 in the condition that a seat back 4 is folded up on the seat cushion 3 is mounted on a floor panel 1 through a metal fixture 7 for coupling to the rotary shaft, wherein the metal fixture 7 is furnished with a rear fastening part 14 and a folded part 15 on the back of the rear seat 2 in the upright attitude, and on the top surface of the folded part 15, a rear mounting surface 15a is formed inclined downward to the back of the vehicle from ahead of the vehicle.
