DATA BROADCAST TS SENDING APPARATUS AND DATA BROADCAST TS SENDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data broadcast TS sending apparatus capable of switching a carousel at intended timing and bit rate at all the time at a data broadcast TS receiving side. SOLUTION: Before performing module switching of a received data broadcast TS, contents of a module of the received data broadcast TS are identified by a DII monitoring unit 106, and a programming confirmation unit 107 compares the identified contents of the module with contents of an update module designated by programming information and determines whether or not the contents are matched. If matched, a switching time confirmation unit 108 compares the time when updating of DII is detected with a switching starting time designated by the programming information and if the time when updating of the DII is detected and the switching starting time are deviated, based on the switching starting time, module switching is performed by first and second carousel reconstitution units 103, 203.
