PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a switchover for each port in a transceiver including a plurality of ports. SOLUTION: Each of transceivers A, B (1-1, 1-2) having a redundant configuration, including a plurality of interface ports and serially communicating switchover control information of each of the interface ports, includes: switchover control circuits (1-7, 1-8) for generating the switchover control information and performing control to switch the interface ports; parallel/serial conversion circuits (1-3, 1-6) for converting the switchover control information into serial information; and serial/parallel conversion circuits (1-4, 1-5) for converting the serial converted switchover control information into parallel information.
