Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a lining material easily and certainly in the expansible and contractible state corresponding to a mode of an application target to keep the same. SOLUTION: In the lining material 1 joined so as to be expansible and contractible in its width direction W by regulating the fitting depth of the mortise-like strip 5 provided to one side part of the lining material 1 and the mortise-like grooved strip 6 provided to the other side part thereof, a spacer 8 having width W4, which can regulate the fitting depth of the mortise-like strip 5 and the mortise-like grooved strip 6 to a prescribed depth D2 is inserted in the mortise 6h of the mortise-like grooved strip 6 and both strips 5 and 6 are subsequently fitted to join the lining material 1.
