ENDOSCOPE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which allows a user to store images easily and credibly. SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus comprises acquiring means 102 and 102' for acquiring an image taken by an endoscope, a digital image processing means 136 for subjecting the image acquired by the acquiring means to digital image processing, analog output means 222 and 235 for converting the digital image subjected to digital image processing into analog and for outputting it, an analog peripheral component connected to the analog output means, a coding means 237 for coding the digital image, a digital image output means 237 for outputting the coded digital image, a digital peripheral component connected to the digital output means, and a record directing means 114 capable of directing the analog peripheral component and the digital peripheral component to carry out recording which can select from the connected analog peripheral component and the digital peripheral component and direct recording.
