INSECT-REPELLING TOOL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING INSECT-REPELLING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-repelling tool which contains an active ingredient having volatility at the ordinary temperature, can efficiently volatilize the active ingredient, and can easily be produced, and to provide a method for producing the insect-repelling tool. SOLUTION: This insect-repelling tool 1 can volatilize an active ingredient of an insect repellent by a fanning operation, and comprises bone members 2, and surface-forming members 3. The surface-forming members 3 are fixed to the bone members 2. A coating layer 12 formed by a surface-treating treatment such as a varnish-coating treatment is disposed on the whole surfaces of the surface-forming members 3. The insect repellent containing the active ingredient having volatility at the ordinary temperature is held in the coating layer 12, and the active ingredient of the insect repellent can volatilize from the coating layer 12 to exhibit actions such as the insect-repelling action. The coating layer 12 can be formed by applying a surface-processing treatment using an insect repellent-added surface processing agent prepared by adding the insect repellent to a surface-processing agent.
