Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device having a front luminescence structure excelling in optical transparency, luminous efficiency, a life characteristic and color coordinates without forming a transparent conductive oxide film on a cathode electrode; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This organic electroluminescence device includes: a substrate 10; first electrodes 12 formed on the substrate 10; organic film layers 16 formed on surfaces facing to interfacial surfaces to the substrate 10 of the first electrodes 12 and including at least an organic light-emitting layer; and second electrodes 18 formed on surfaces facing to interfacial surfaces to the first electrodes 12 of the organic film layers 16.
