CONNECTOR FOR MEMORY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for memory module with high reliability in which locking of the memory module is not released even if impact or vibration is applied. SOLUTION: The connector for memory module comprises a housing in which a plurality of contacts are installed, a first side wall member which is fitted at both sides of the housing and capable of elastic deformation, a second side wall member which is arranged at the inside of the first side wall and fitted to the housing, and a coupling member which is capable of making the first side wall member and the second side wall member in locking and non-locking state. The first side wall member has a latch pawl at the upper part near the front end part and a first passage at its front end part, the second side wall member has a second passage corresponding to the first passage of the first side wall member at the front end part, and the coupling member locks the first side wall member and the second side wall member by advancing from the first passage of the first side wall member to the second passage of the second side wall member.
