FLEXIBLE RECORDING DISK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the flexibility of a disk, to more promptly restore and stabilize fluctuation in the surface wobbling direction of the disk when the disk is rotated, and to stably perform recording and reproduction. SOLUTION: A film-shaped recording medium 2 having a recording film and a film-shaped light incident medium 3 forming a light incident surface are joined at a fixed interval by a hub 4 and an outer peripheral ring 5 to form a hollow part 6, the hollow part 6 between the recording medium 2 and the light incident medium 3 is made to communicate with an external part by communication parts 7, deformations of the recording medium 2 and the light incident medium 3 are prevented even if atmospheric pressure in the ambient environment is changed and atmospheric pressure distribution in a hollow structure caused by a centrifugal force applied to air in the hollow part 6 between the recording medium 2 and the light incident medium 3 is also adjusted via the communicating parts 7 even if the flexible recording disk 1 is rotated at high speed to prevent deformations of the recording medium 2 and the light incident medium 3.
