Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for properly expressing a reflection into a virtual object from peripheral environment when observing the virtual object while changing an attitude of a viewpoint. SOLUTION: A position/attitude of the viewpoint is acquired (S1020), an area used when performing environment mapping to an environment mapping target area of the virtual object among environment mapping images is specified on the basis of the attitude of the viewpoint (S1040, S1060), an image inside the specified area is environment-mapped to the environment mapping target area (S1060), and an image obtained by viewing a virtual space including the environment-mapped virtual object from the viewpoint is generated.
