CONCENTRATION MEASURING METHOD OF beta-AMYLOID AND SCREENING METHOD OF COAGULATION INHIBITOR CANDIDATE OF AMYLOID beta PROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantification method of amyloid β protein, a novel substance capable of inhibiting the coagulation of amyloid β protein and a screening method of the novel substance. SOLUTION: Polystyrenic fine particles being insoluble carrier particles with a diameter of 50-1,000 nm coated with β-amyloid are subjected to the self-assembly with β-amyloid in a solution to be coagulated and sedimented, and transmittance is measured to measure the concentration of β-amyloid in the solution. The screening method of the coagulation inhibitor candidate capable of inhibiting the coagulation amyloid β protein using this method is also disclosed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
